They work like a charm for me and I am sure they are partly responsible for my success in getting rid of my acne and keeping my complexion in check. Although there are hundreds or thousands of tips, these 4 are the foundations on which all others are rest. Here’s my pick for some of the best in no particular order.
Relax. Reduce the stress in your life. I know there is a lot of disagreement over the stress thing and it relationship to acne but I prefer to side with research like England’s University of Manchester latest study that showed there is a connection between stress and your immune system regulating cells. I really don’t want to get in the technical causal dimensions as they relate to stress and acne when we can all agree that too much stress isn’t good for anyone. So while your complexion may not be enhanced. A positive stress free mental attitude certainly isn’t going to hurt your acne.
Lay off the moo cow milk. While no one can say milk causes acne. There is research that suggests milk and dairy consumption may have an effect on the severity of your acne outbreak. Pay attention to your body when you consume milk. If you notice effects that aren’t positive, switch over to soy milk or other dairy substitutes that are available.
Wash your bedding. Every day you expose you body to the dirt and grime of the outside world. Then you use lotions and gels to make you smell pretty and your hair shiny. On top of that, your body produces its own oils that mix with the dead skin flakes that die off every day. Face it you are a walking Petri dish and when you lay down to sleep at night you are leaving traces of that same bacteria on your bed linens. After a couple of days it can get pretty rank. Do yourself and your acne a favor and wash it regularly. If for some reason that is not possible at least change out you pillow case often so your face can avoid the bacterial feast.
Get plenty of rest. Sleep repairs the body’s damage due to day to day activities that wear it down. When you also have added the goal of getting rid of acne and healing your skin you are asking a lot of our body. Give it the opportunity to heal itself. You can’t expect to be at your best without adequate rest. Don’t ignore sleep. It could be the most important weapon you have in your arsenal to getting rid of acne .
